We’re thrilled that Durham Central Park will serve as the backyard for our upcoming residents and we invite you to read the note below from Erin Kauffman, Executive Director of Durham Central Park, Inc:

Durham Central Park was delighted to recently receive a generous donation from Lambert Development in honor of residents of The Vega, who will be neighbors of the park when The Vega is complete. The contribution is earmarked for park beautification; it will help to cover the costs of park cleanups, maintaining and installing gardens, and many projects that make the park more beautiful, comfortable, and welcoming to all.

Durham Central Park is a five-acre city park in the heart of downtown Durham. The park is managed, developed, and programmed by Durham Central Park, Inc, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. For over 20 years, countless supporters have donated time, effort, and funds to create and sustain this park that we all enjoy today. Together, we have been able to transform a once underused area into a bustling park and community gathering space.
