Optional Electric Car Charging Station Now Offered Per Residence at The Vega
As work continues at Downtown Durham’s premier condo address, many of you have asked us about car charging stations… A 208V electric car charging station will be available as an option for every home at The Vega. Home buyers will be offered this option to purchase during the selection process, with all purchased charging stations installed by the time of occupancy. The ability to purchase a comparable charging station at a later date will be available for home buyers who don’t initially need a charging station but may have this need in the future. Electricity for the stations will be monitored and invoiced to each homeowner based on actual consumption as measured by the charging panel. This means that homeowners who do not own a charging station will not be billed for any charging activity. We’re pleased to offer car charging stations, as we anticipate increased popularity in electric car ownership on an ongoing basis.
